Handguns
A handgun has to feel right in the hand before the rest of the details matter. This page groups together revolvers and semi auto pistols from Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, Colt, Springfield Armory, Taurus, Beretta, Browning, Charter Arms and Cimarron. Pay attention to grip size, sights, trigger reach, magazine style and how you plan to carry or store it.

Fit comes before features
Handgun shopping is personal. A Glock or Sig Sauer semi auto may suit a shooter who wants a familiar control layout and easy magazine changes. A Smith & Wesson, Colt, Charter Arms or Cimarron revolver may be a better match for simple operation, range use or a classic feel. Taurus, Springfield Armory, Browning and Beretta also give you many choices in size and handling.
Think through use and practice
The pistol you carry all day may not be the same one you enjoy most at the range. Smaller handguns are easier to carry but can be harder to shoot well. Larger models are often easier to control, especially with steady practice. Before buying, look at capacity, sight picture, safeties, grip shape and the cost of the ammunition you expect to shoot.
What happens after checkout
Keys Gun Shop sends each handgun to the licensed dealer picked for the transfer. Form 4473 and the federal background check are completed with that dealer, and federal rules, state rules and local rules all apply. Browse Semi Auto Pistols, compare Revolvers, and stock up on Handgun Ammo where permitted.
Handgun Questions
What should I check first when choosing a handgun?
Start with fit in your hand, how the controls feel, and the job you expect the handgun to do. Caliber and size matter, but poor fit is hard to overcome.
Are revolvers still a good choice?
Yes. Revolvers are simple to operate and still make sense for many shooters who want a straightforward handgun.
Do handguns ship to my home?
No. A handgun is shipped to the licensed dealer you select, and the background check is completed there.
Can I buy handgun ammunition with a handgun order?
You can order ammunition when it is available and shipment to your location is permitted by state and local law. Firearms and ammunition may ship under different rules.
How soon will my handgun order ship?
When the order is ready, most handgun shipments leave within 1 to 3 business days.
