The transfer is handled through a dealer
A firearm order is sent to the licensed dealer selected by the customer. The federal background check is completed with that dealer through Form 4473, and federal rules, state rules and local rules all apply. Start with Handguns, compare Rifles, look through Shotguns, or review Class 3 items if you are shopping suppressors or other regulated gear.
Firearm Questions
Can I have a firearm shipped directly to me?
A firearm cannot be sent straight to your door. It must go to the licensed dealer you select, then you complete Form 4473 and the federal background check at that location.
How fast do firearm orders ship?
After the order is ready to leave, most shipments go out in 1 to 3 business days.
Do I need to choose a dealer before ordering?
You will need a licensed dealer for the transfer. Many customers choose their preferred local dealer during checkout or shortly after ordering.
Can local customers visit the shop?
Yes, shop visits are by appointment only. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
Can I buy a suppressor from Keys Gun Shop?
Yes. Suppressors are listed along with other NFA items, and every NFA purchase follows federal, state and local rules.
